Wildernook Summer Camps are wrapped up for 2024! We had 9 weeks of camp; 1 PunchBuggy Camp, 2 Nature Creatives, 2 Outdoor Skills Camps, and 5 weeks of Summatime Playventures camps. Overall, 175 kids attended our summer camps in 2024.
Our day camps are brim-full with enthusiastic campers and adventures they bring home with them. Thanks so much for your support of our little locally owned & women-led biz, the Wildernook team.

We are looking for new owners and operators to continue and build on Wildernook's vibrant outdoor and nature programming foundation. Please contact claire@wildernook.com to discuss.
Wildernook Outdoor Skills Camp is a program for youth who are craving more time outdoors developing independence, problem solving and outdoor living skills. This program is designed to support participant growth and maximize confidence-building opportunities.
Our outdoor educators bring years of experience facilitating wilderness trips in all seasons. Whether preparing food, setting up shelter, building a fire, or learning to use a knife safely, participants will benefit from hands-on learning opportunities in an encouraging community.
Requirements: Participants must provide their own rain gear, day pack and lunch. This is an active program and participants should be in good physical condition to enjoy themselves (e.g. able to comfortably run for 15 minutes and walk for 60 minutes at a time) outdoors for extended periods of time. We have scheduled down time after lunch where kids can read, draw or play cards.
Times: 9:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $385 ($77/ 6hr day of learning).
This price includes access to the group outdoor gear we will be using, outdoor skills training and excellent supervision, education and mentorship from experienced outdoor educators. We maintain a low leader to participant ratio of 1:6 for this program.
Full registration requires our receipt of payment, health information and completed waiver forms. We are open to having children with additional needs, however, facilitators require advance notice of each participant’s health information in order to prepare for the session. Families who do not disclose pertinent health and learning considerations (e.g illness requiring additional care, life threatening allergies, and significant learning disabilities, etc.) before the program start date will not be permitted to participate and no refund will be provided.
